Symbolic hunger strike in Karachi to demand the release of the political prisoners

Sartaj Khan and Riaz from International Socialists, Sherbaz from Labour Party Pakistan, Fahad Ali from Progressive Youth Front, Sultatn Mehmood from JKPNP, Shabir Mayyar from Gilgit Baltistant Youth Comittee, Ahsiq Hussain from Balawaristan National Youth Alliance are on hunger strike in front of Karachi press club. They demand the withdrawal of the terrorism charges against the Hunza five and their immediate liberation.

Solidarity with the movement for the Liberation of the Hunza five. Pakistani Government should listen to the other voices in the country who are asking the liberation and to drop all charges against the Hunza five. No to authoritarian state. For another Pakistan is possible. Another Pakistan where there is guarantee for citizens’ fundamental rights, that is the right to live a life with full dignity, freedom, equality and social justice.
